about ME

I'm an educator who helps students of all ages reach their full potential.

I first fell in love with all things leadership while in college earning a degree in English and history.

While teaching Shakespeare by day as a certified secondary education teacher, I went to business school at night to get my MBA.

For years I found my niche in a classroom teaching leadership and planning student activities and community events like homecoming parades and blood drives.

I did a stint in full-time ministry on a church staff developing leaders and volunteers, and then I followed in the entrepreneur footsteps of my parents and started a small business.

Today I direct a leadership program at a public high school while sharing my experience with others through writing, coaching, speaking, and hosting. I am also attempting to check an item off my bucket list by pursuing a Ph.D. in global leadership.

I am a bookworm who is notorious for reading multiple books at a time, and my suitcase and passport are always ready for travel adventures.

I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and live on the same land my grandfather purchased in 1937 in the farming community of Tanner Williams.

Thanks for visiting!
